There on the street where I live
I met a neighbour, separated from her husband, she is living by herself
Besides being pretty, she’s a well of goodness
Seeing my car in the rain she offered her garage

She said no one uses it since he left me
Inside my garage spider webs he gathered
Put your car here otherwise it will rust
It’s a used garage but your car will like it

I put the car, I take the car at the time that I want
What a tight little garage, what a sweet woman
I take it out early, I put it at night and sometimes in the evening
I’m even changing the oil in the garage of the neighbour.

But my strong car has a beautiful trailer
That I use to sell coconuts to make some change
The garage is small, what shall I do now?
My car stays in and the coconuts stay out

My neighbour is good, of the garage I’ll take care
By the door the woods grew, I cut it off
The goodness of the neighbour is from another world
When I’m not using that of the front I use the back garage

I put the car, I take the car at the time that I want
What a tight little garage, what a sweet woman
I take it out early, I put it at night and sometimes in the evening
I’m even changing the oil in the garage of the neighbour.
